Latest Developments (December 2025) Since the publication of our guide, new operational details have been released:
- System Go-Live: The portal is now available at: https://myfuturefund.ie/
- Refunds: All refunds are handled directly by NAERSA (not via payroll).
- Exemptions: Employees with off-payroll private pensions will have the option to contact NAERSA directly to de-enroll. Supporting evidence will be required.
- Avoidance Warning: Authorities are actively monitoring for “artificial” compliance (e.g. micro-contributions) intended to bypass full enrolment.
