Auto Enrolment – Pension obligations for UK employers
On 1 October 2012 the auto-enrolment of pension contributions will begin to take effect. This will be phased in, beginning with the largest employers (250 + employees), over a 5 year period.
For small employers with less than 50 staff your staging date is now from one year later than planned, in May 2015 instead of April 2014. The percentage rates are also being staged in. Need help ?
